This blog is a little near and dear to my heart as many mediums always undergo such scrutiny from people, even though our main focus and purposes are that we just want to help others. We often feel a calling.
I want to start by stating that the best form of acceptance to any of this if you may be a skeptic is KNOWLEDGE.
If you find yourself questioning psychic intuition, mediumship or the afterlife, the only advice I can give to you is to search out your answers. Learn as much as you can, even if it's not in the biblical sense. When I first began my journey, I consulted many historical non-biblical sources of information such as census records and records of historians and writers. That paved my path and then one thing led to another.
There is much information on the internet for you to learn about what this is all about. Take up a chair and begin your search.
My mediumship is not intended to prove to you personally that this is all real if you are not receptive of life after death or people with abilities. My mission is to serve spirit, help those who want the help, and provide love to God's people.
However, I will state that if you even remotely have any activity with paranormal activities such as investigating or in interest, etc... You should be well aware that there will be many people with abilities that you will come across in the course of your endeavor, so it is in your best interest to try to understand what is going on and what is transpiring with them. Just because you don't understand what they are going thru is no excuse for being an unkind person to them. You may just possibly have one of the best experiences of your life by being near or around this person, thereby giving you the evidence you so desperatley needed or wanted.
Again, knowledge of the whole concept is crucial to understanding.
There is much to learn.
It's each person's, own personal journey when they are truly ready to be receptive to the idea.
You can find out much information on both this website and our APA website as well.
I would recommend starting there and then going to other sites at your own pace for more answers.
As always, I am also here to help if you have any questions, please feel free to email thesouthernmedium@gmail.com for more information.
